Chris Miller at Upland by J. Grant Brittain

I think this is from '87. It's still my favorite skate photo ever. Check the shadow.

The Valentines Aussie Bubblegum 1968

I am not an AC/DC fan by any stretch of the imagination but I always get a kick out of this clip. This was about 6 years before Bon joined AC/DC. The Valentines. Bon is on backing vocals. Bon's hair would give Rod Stewart or Ron Wood a serious run for their money.

Neil Blender "Squirrel"

Just got a boat load of new stuff from Neil. Traded some more records for this one. Neil digs Nederbeat. 5 of these lino prints were made, each one is unique. This Dino jr color combo is tops of the lot. This same graphic was used on Neil's last pro model on The Heated Wheel in 2006. Lino print and acrylic on wood.

Neil Blender "Traffic Games"

I traded Neil a 1970 Yamaha 12-string acoustic guitar for this one. Stoked. Acrylic on denim.

SMALL BEATING is back, whether you like it or not.

My skate brother and Small Beating overlord Chad Jackson lays down a tasty smith on the terror that is the Small Beating garage ramp. Most of the transitions are like the shallow end of a backyard pool and I've got the torn rotator cuff as proof. Small Beating is back. After some serious jerking around by the wood shop, the first batch of decks are in hand. Skate and Annoy did a really nice piece a while ago on the relaunch. More photos of the insane Small Beating ramp at The Skateboard Archive.

Sweet essence of giraffe

Rare performance on "Colour Me Pop" UK 1968 featuring the
"worst guitar solo ever" by Neil Innes.. If you don't know
The Bonzos, get cracking.

This hippie kills it

Yeah, the hippie gear is a bit much but this is the most original street footage since Natas Kaupas in "Wheels Of Fire".  Mega bonus points for skating to The Idle Race's "Days Of Broken Arrows".

Neil Blender "Flower Guy"

I traded Neil some records for this one. Linoleum print on wood. This image was also used for the very rare Heated Wheel team model deck back in 2006.

Lance Mountain deathbox

Hand-down backside slash a la Scott Oster. This is one of the sickest photos ever. Lance is living the dream in his own backyard. I don't remember where I got this photo, if you know who took this drop me a line and I'll gladly give credit.

Keith Moon, White Tornado

This has to be the rarest Who footage out there. This clip is probably way too raw to ever be released officially. Music Hall De France, March 30th, 1966. "Substitute", "Man With Money" and "Dancing In The Street". This is only known footage of them covering The Everly Brothers' "Man With Money". Keith don't need no stinking hi-hat.

Neil Blender "Worm Trainer"

Neil's been a source of stoke for 23 years now. His skating is like his art, completely original. The first time I saw his artwork was in the August 1986 issue of Transworld Skateboarding at age 12 and have been hooked ever since. Neil shut down his site, The Heated Wheel, last year but he still sells his stuff on eBay under the handle leaves63.
