It's been Blender by the barrel-full lately here on the site. Hot vid for Neil's new OJ wheel "Green Heat" featuring Neil and Alex Horn tapping heat all over the place. Dig Neil's b/s nose pick-f/s gazelle out. Huh?!

The Rondells "You Better Run" 1966

Correct date is '66, not '65. This may be even better than the god-like In-Betweens version. Definitely better than the Pat Benatar version!

Indian Wig "Next Stop Santa Ana"

Hagop Najarian, Lance Mountain and Neil Blender's jazz combo. I must have watched this clip 20 times already. This vid's got it all: Super 8 skate footage with Neil, Lance, Skip Disney and Mike Smith at Sadlands, Marina and Skate City in Whittier, action figure throw down, time lapse painting and more. Dig it.

Tappin' Heat

OK, I'm a Bones man but I had to give these a plug since my main man Neil did the graphic and they look sick. A shirt with this same graphic came out a few months ago. OJ3 Neil Blender Green Heat wheels 58mm only. Get 'em here.

The Who and Skateboarding 1966

Two of my favorite things. I think this show was "A Whole Scene Going". Skateboards were just being introduced to the UK. A clip of Jacks skate team is shown then The Who mime "Out In The Street" off their debut LP "My Generation".

Soul Possession with Ben Hamper

OK, soul-fiends, check out my friend Ben's radio show SOUL POSSESSION. He's on every Friday but you can check out his archived shows in the meantime. He plays the real stuff, not some weak Northern Soul Dionne Warwick imitator pap. He's best known for his novel "Rivethead: Tales From The Assembly Line". You may have seen Ben in Michael Moore's first film, "Roger & Me". He was the hoops playing mental patient. He was also on Moore's short- lived "TV Nation" program and hosted the "Take No Prisoners" cable access show.

In this clip: classic Hamper telling the Today Show how it really is, in action riveting on the line, pounding quarts in the parking lot and even belting out "Rat Like Me".
